The short version

Dossly stores your medication schedule, logs, and photos on your device first. Health data you choose to sync comes from Apple Health or Health Connect, and only flows in the direction you allow. Nothing is sold. Nothing is shared with advertisers. You can export everything or delete your account permanently at any time from within the app.

What we collect

To run Dossly, we collect the following:

• Account details, such as your name and email address.
• Medication schedules, logs, and any proof photos you choose to attach.
• Health data you connect from Apple Health or Health Connect, such as activity or glucose readings.
• Messages exchanged with a caregiver you have invited into your account.
• Basic diagnostic information, such as crash reports, used to keep Dossly reliable.

How your health data is handled

Data from Apple Health and Health Connect is read only with your explicit permission, one data type at a time. You can turn off any connection at any point in your device settings or inside Dossly. Dossly never writes data back to these platforms without a matching action you took in the app, such as logging a dose.

What a caregiver can see

If you invite a caregiver, you choose what they can see. This can include your medication schedule, recent logs, proof photos, and messages you send them directly. You can adjust their access or remove them entirely at any time.

Storage and encryption

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Sensitive information, including proof photos and medication logs, is stored on infrastructure that meets modern security standards, with access limited to what is required to keep the service running.

Third party services

We use a small number of third party services to run Dossly, including infrastructure hosting and privacy respecting analytics. We do not use cross site advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data to any third party.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Export a complete copy of your data from within the app.
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently.
• Revoke health data permissions from your device settings.
• Remove a caregiver and their access to your information.

Children's privacy

Dossly is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will let you know inside the app before the change takes effect.
